Year 3 Homework

In Year 3, children are expected to read five times a week and practise their spellings.
They can also practise their times tables on Times Tables Rock Stars
Year 3 are expected to complete their own Home Learning Records where appropriate so that the teachers can see their independent reading as well as when they read to adults at home.
When practising spellings children can use any method they like. It is great practise to write their spellings into sentences too so that they learn the context and meaning of their words.
Termly Project Homework gives the children the opportunity to dive into their topic and pick a task that suits them. This can be completed at any point in the term and handed in to be shared with their friends.
