Cross in Hand is a very happy and welcoming school with a team of staff that put their heart and soul into nurturing and inspiring the children. We strive to provide the best learning experience possible for all of our children. We hope this website allows you to begin to experience the enjoyment of learning within our school and the team ethos that surrounds it. Whilst we are immensely proud of our school, we still continually look for ways to improve and take Cross in Hand forwards. As we work together as a community, we know there is no limit to what we can all achieve.
Nativity Performances
Our Early Years, Y1 and Y2 children have performed their Nativities to their parents and carers. The performances went very well, with some very large audiences. Thank you to the staff for preparing the Nativity plays, to the parents and carers for coming, and of course to the children, who did so well and made us all so proud.
Prefects
Congratulations to Luc and Abbey who are the next children in Year 6 to be selected as Prefects. These Year 6 Prefects have been specifically chosen for demonstrating the following outstanding qualities:
An excellent attitude towards their work
Exemplary behaviour around the school
Consideration towards the whole school community
Striving to push themselves forwards in all they do
Year 6 Residential
Year 6 have returned from an action-packed week at PGL in Windmill Hill, enjoying a wide range of exciting activities. This fantastic experience would not be possible without all the adults who have given up their time (and sleep!) to make it possible for the children to go. Welcome to Cross in Hand Primary school. This engaging promotional video shows you how great life is at our school. We offer great facilities, including our own school swimming pool, outdoor gym and wrap-around care from 7:15am to 6pm. We provide exciting learning opportunities and a range of outdoor experiences in a caring and nurturing environment.
